The pens are designed to work under extreme temperature ranges from -30 degrees Fahrenheit to +250 degrees Fahrenheit. The pen can also right on wet paper and upside down. The belt pouch is designed for the 4 x 6 inch top spiral fishing notebook and also holds the pen and has space for other small items such as keys, id, currency, etc. It has a rugged buckle closure and belt loops.
